Hugues started his career in healthcare as a registered nurse and has been a highly respected vascular access specialist for over 30 years. He has trained hundreds of other vascular access specialists on how to insert peripheral lines, midlines, and PICCs using 3CG technology.

During his early days as a nurse educator, he often heard the same question: “Isn’t there a better way to train our nurses?” His answer, unfortunately, was always “no.” His client’s needs inspired him to come up with a better solution. That’s when Hugues decided to create an online training platform that is intuitive, convenient, user-friendly, and affordable.

Over the past six years, Hugues has worked diligently to create the IV Mastery program so that healthcare facilities and workers could easily access the comprehensive teaching tools online.

Making IV education more convenient and affordable for every healthcare professional continues to be Hugues’ ultimate goal. IV Mastery is a platform that healthcare professionals can use anytime so nurses can reach the highest standards in IV practice without breaking the bank.

With over 13 courses in intravenous management and more than 30 contact hours available, IV Mastery provides the training and tools to assist the healthcare professional community. IV Mastery solves a logistic nightmare while providing learning solutions to RNs, LPNs, and LVNs.

Hugues believes it’s time for skilled nursing facilities to jump into the 21 century and use technology to make education more accessible.

Nathalie Villeneuve
Marketing Director

Nathalie Villeneuve loves to weave self-expression, art, and design into her message to help women cultivate their creativity. She defines herself as a free-spirited woman blessed with a loving family. Nathalie’s background is in Fine Art and Graphic Design. She was in business for seven years, facilitating painting workshops where she helped women create art while raising their self-esteem.

Nathalie’s award-winning work speaks volumes and has been shown in various galleries, and recently as a greeting card line and a coloring book.

As it did for so many, the pandemic caused a shift in the Villeneuve household, and Nathalie was forced to close up shop.

While Hugues was putting the final touches on the launch of IV Mastery in August 2020, there was such excitement in the air. It was then that Hugues and Nathalie started to talk about making IV Mastery a true family-owned and operated business.

Nathalie joined IV Mastery as Marketing Director to increase brand awareness and to introduce the healthcare industry to a new IV education standard. Her goal is to optimize client experience for long-term care pharmacies and skilled nursing facilities.

Her years of experience with social media marketing, graphic design, and community-building align with IV Mastery’s goals to grow long-term care pharmacy partnerships and make IV education accessible to our nation’s nurses.

Gabriel Villeneuve
Head Project Manager

Gabriel’s passion for IV Mastery began in the summer of 2020. With already many years of experience in healthcare, he has diligently applied his knowledge in creating new course content in order to best serve new and existing clients.

Gabriel’s IV Mastery responsibilities include performing quality control throughout the development of new projects and making adjustments as needed to facilitate their implementation.

Gabriel utilizes and references the industry’s best practices, techniques, and standards to ensure the quality of the content we deliver to our clients.

Julie Waterhouse
Webmaster

Julie Waterhouse is an AccessAlly Certified Partner and WordPress web developer with over 30 years of experience working in the information technology field. She has consulted for both corporate clients and small businesses. With two degrees in Computer Science, she has a strong technical background, but she’s equally able to communicate in a clear, jargon-free way. She loves to use technology to solve business problems.

Julie cares deeply about her clients and their success. She treats her clients’ businesses with the same care and attention as if they were her own.  Her goal in working with a client is to make the process stress-free, by listening to discover what they really need, and providing clear updates throughout the project. Her clients love how organized Julie is, and how she streamlines the process of delivering a strategic website project. 

Julie has been working with IV Mastery through her company JD Waterhouse since 2020. She continues to develop the website, membership system, and related automation.
